Social media influencer Orry summoned by Mumbai Police in drug case worth crores; to appear before Ghatkopar unit
Mumbai Police have issued a summons to popular social media personality Orry (Orhan Awatramani) in connection with a major drug trafficking and consumption case currently under investigation by the Ghatkopar unit of the Mumbai Crime Branch.
According to officials, Orry’s name reportedly surfaced during the interrogation of several accused linked to a drug supply network operating across Mumbai. Investigators believe certain high-profile individuals may have been connected to parties or circles where the substances were consumed.
Orry has been asked to appear before the Ghatkopar Crime Branch unit on the date mentioned in the notice. His statement will be recorded as part of the ongoing probe. Police sources have clarified that the summons does not necessarily imply involvement, but is based on information recovered from digital devices and statements of arrested suspects.
The drug case, which involves the seizure of narcotics worth several crores, has already seen multiple arrests, including peddlers and alleged distributors. The investigation is focused on tracing the wider network of consumers and suppliers in Mumbai’s social circuit.
So far, Orry or his representatives have not issued any official statement on the matter. Mumbai Police are expected to question more individuals as the case develops.
