HBO Harry Potter Officially Returns to Hogwarts Two Weeks Early Full Details
HBO highly anticipated Harry Potter television series is bringing fans back to the Wizarding World with a major promotional return to Hogwarts ahead of the show’s official premiere.
The franchise Back to Hogwarts celebration on September 1, 2026 will give fans an early opportunity to experience the new era of the series and see promotional material connected to HBO’s upcoming adaptation.
However the two weeks early wording does not mean that the HBO series itself has moved its premiere date. The first season is still officially scheduled to premiere on December 25, 2026.
New Harry Potter Cast
The reboot introduces a completely new young trio. Dominic McLaughlin plays Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton portrays Hermione Granger, and Alastair Stout takes on the role of Ron Weasley.
The adult cast includes John Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore, Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall, Nick Frost as Hagrid, and Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape.
