Vimal Elaichi Case Shah Rukh Khan Ajay Devgn and Tiger Shroff Respond to FDA Notices
The controversy surrounding the Vimal Elaichi advertisement featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn and Tiger Shroff has taken a new turn. Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe has revealed that all three Bollywood actors have responded to the notices issued to them.
The FDA had earlier sent show-cause notices to Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn and Tiger Shroff over their appearance in a Vimal Elaichi advertising campaign. The regulator raised concerns that the advertisement could be connected to surrogate promotion of pan masala, which is restricted under Maharashtra’s regulations.
According to Tukaram Mundhe, the three actors have now submitted their responses to the FDA. He also revealed that two of the three actors requested personal hearings before the department. Those hearings have already been completed.
