Ranveer Singh Sister Once Put Him on a Shah Rukh Khan DDLJ Poster — His Manifestation Eventually Came True
Ranveer Singh’s journey to becoming one of Bollywood’s biggest stars has an emotional family story behind it. Years before he became a successful actor, his sister had already imagined him as a Bollywood hero and created a special picture that placed him on one of Shah Rukh Khan’s most iconic movie posters.
During an earlier interview, Ranveer recalled how his sister once created a photoshopped image of him on the poster of Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. At the time, Ranveer was still trying to make his way into the Hindi film industry and had no guarantee that his acting dream would become reality.
His sister, however, strongly believed that he would eventually become a successful Bollywood actor. Inspired by the idea of manifestation and positive thinking, she created several edited pictures featuring Ranveer in the style of famous Bollywood movie posters.
One of the most memorable pictures showed Ranveer replacing Shah Rukh Khan on the DDLJ poster. For Ranveer, the image became more than just a fun family creation. He kept the pictures as a reminder of his dream and the belief his sister had in him.
From a Dream to Reality
Ranveer eventually got his big opportunity with Yash Raj Films. He made his acting debut with Band Baaja Baaraat, which became a major turning point in his career.
The film’s success helped establish him as a promising new actor, and he went on to deliver performances in several successful movies. Over the years, Ranveer became known for his energetic performances, distinctive style and ability to take on very different characters.
Looking back at the old poster created by his sister, Ranveer felt that her dream had almost become a reality. The person she had imagined as a Bollywood hero had actually become one.
Shah Rukh Khan Connection
The story is particularly special because Shah Rukh Khan was one of the biggest stars of the era when Ranveer was growing up and dreaming about Bollywood. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge remains one of the most iconic romantic films in Hindi cinema, making the edited poster an especially meaningful symbol of Ranveer’s aspirations.
Years later, Ranveer himself became a major Bollywood star with films such as Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat, Gully Boy, 83 and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
His journey from an aspiring actor to a leading star makes the old photograph created by his sister even more remarkable.
A Family Belief That Stayed With Him
The story highlights the important role Ranveer’s family played in supporting his ambitions. While becoming an actor was uncertain at the time, his sister continued to believe in his potential.
What began as a creative birthday gesture eventually became a powerful reminder of how far Ranveer had travelled.
