Ramayana trailer to debut at Brahma Muhurat on July 30 makers reveal spiritual reason

Ranbir Kapoor Yash starrer Ramayana trailer to release on July 30 here why makers chose Brahma Muhurat

The wait is finally over for fans of Ramayana. The makers have officially announced that the much-awaited trailer of Nitesh Tiwari’s epic mythological film, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, and Sai Pallavi, will be released worldwide on July 30, 2026, during the auspicious Brahma Muhurat. The trailer is expected to premiere at 4:15 AM IST, a time considered highly sacred in Hindu tradition.

According to producer Namit Malhotra, the decision to unveil the trailer during Brahma Muhurat was made to honour the spiritual significance of the Ramayana. In Hindu beliefs, Brahma Muhurat—roughly 1 hour and 36 minutes before sunrise—is regarded as the most favourable time for prayer, meditation, and beginning sacred activities. By choosing this timing, the makers aim to pay tribute to Lord Ram and present the film with devotion and respect rather than as just another commercial release.

The trailer launch was initially expected earlier but was postponed, increasing anticipation among fans. The fresh announcement has sparked excitement across social media, with many praising the team’s thoughtful approach to the film’s promotional campaign.

Rahman and Hans Zimmer. The first installment is scheduled to release during Diwali 2026.
