Rhea Chakraborty Reveals How Much She Earned at 17
Rhea Chakraborty recently opened up about her early career and revealed a surprising detail about her earnings as a teenager. During a conversation with comedian Tanmay Bhat, Rhea recalled that she was earning around ₹3 lakh per month when she was just 17–18 years old while working as an MTV VJ.
Rhea had moved to Mumbai at a young age with dreams of building a career in the entertainment industry. Her journey began with television, where she participated in MTV’s TVS Scooty Teen Diva before becoming a VJ.
Talking about her first major earnings, Rhea recalled that receiving such a large amount at such a young age made her feel extremely wealthy. She also revealed that she spent her last salary of around ₹3 lakh on what she described as “fixing” her face.
Her revelation has grabbed attention online because earning ₹3 lakh every month at the age of 17–18 was a remarkable achievement. It also offers a glimpse into how quickly her career progressed during her early years in the entertainment industry.
Rhea eventually transitioned from television to Bollywood and appeared in films such as Mere Dad Ki Maruti, Sonali Cable and Jalebi. After taking a break from acting, she later returned to the screen with new projects.
