A Tough Night for Payal Kapadia

Indian filmmaker Payal Kapadia had high hopes as her critically acclaimed film All We Imagine As Light was nominated for Best Director and Best Motion Picture – Non-English Language. However, the night did not go in her favor. Brady Corbet won Best Director for The Brutalist, a powerful drama that also clinched the award for Best Film – Drama.
