Hanuman Ansh Box Office: Film Crosses ₹50 Crore in 26 Days With Record Footfalls
Hanuman Ansh has emerged as one of the biggest surprise successes at the Indian box office in 2026. The devotional drama, based on the life of Neem Karoli Baba, has shown remarkable growth during its theatrical run despite starting with a comparatively slow opening.
On its 26th day, the film recorded an estimated ₹8.50 crore net in India, taking its total domestic net collection beyond the ₹50 crore mark. The film also registered its strongest Tuesday performance of the run, highlighting the growing audience interest in the movie.
The fourth Tuesday proved particularly significant because the movie witnessed a major increase in audience footfalls. According to reports, discounted ticket prices helped attract more viewers, resulting in the highest footfalls of the film’s theatrical run on that day.
The film’s fourth-week performance has been especially impressive. After collecting around ₹6.25 crore on Day 22, ₹9.25 crore on Day 23 and ₹12.75 crore on Day 24, the movie added another strong ₹5.50 crore on Day 25 before jumping to approximately ₹8.50 crore on Day 26.
What makes the achievement more notable is the film’s reported modest production budget. Reports have placed the budget at around ₹2 crore, making its theatrical performance an extraordinary turnaround from its initial days.
The movie has also been performing strongly against bigger releases. Its daily Hindi collections have recently surpassed those of Toxic, despite the latter having a much larger scale and star power. This has turned Hanuman Ansh into one of the year’s most unexpected box-office stories.
The film’s success appears to be driven largely by positive word-of-mouth, devotional appeal and increasing audience interest. Its unusual growth during the later weeks of its theatrical run has made it a notable sleeper hit.
