Kangana Ranaut Slams AI Edited Photos, Calls It Deeply Violating

Kangana Ranaut Condemns AI-Edited Saree Photos, Calls It Violating Beyond Words

Full Details:

Bollywood actress and Lok Sabha MP Kangana Ranaut has strongly criticized the circulation of AI-edited images of herself on social media. The photos in question were originally taken during her appearances outside Parliament, where she was dressed in traditional sarees. However, these images were later altered using artificial intelligence to show her wearing Western outfits such as pant suits, without her consent.

Reacting to the trend, Kangana expressed her anger and discomfort, stating that such AI manipulation is “violating beyond words.” She made it clear that repeatedly seeing her images edited into different clothes and looks using AI tools is deeply invasive and disrespectful.

Kangana pointed out that the original photographs were authentic moments from her public life and questioned why people feel entitled to digitally alter someone’s appearance. She emphasized that how she looks and what she chooses to wear is her personal decision, and no one has the right to “dress” her using technology.

She also urged people to stop misusing AI tools for such purposes and called for greater respect for personal boundaries and consent in the digital space. According to her, technology should be used responsibly and creatively, not to distort someone’s identity or impose choices on them.

Kangana’s reaction has reignited the debate around AI misuse, digital consent, and privacy, especially concerning public figures whose images are frequently edited and shared without permission. Her statement serves as a strong reminder that ethical limits must be maintained while using advanced technology.
