The Odyssey Mumbai Premiere Tom Holland Matt Damon and Christopher Nolan film gets CBFC clearance with ZERO cuts

Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated epic The Odyssey has achieved a major milestone ahead of its theatrical release in India. The film has officially been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) without a single cut or modification, allowing Indian audiences to experience the exact version that will be screened worldwide. The movie has been awarded an ‘A’ (Adults Only) certificate due to its mature themes and intense content.

The certification comes just as Christopher Nolan arrived in Mumbai along with lead stars Tom Holland and Matt Damon for the film’s grand India premiere. The event marks the first time one of Nolan’s films has held an official premiere in India, highlighting the country’s growing importance in the global film market.

According to reports, the CBFC did not ask for any scene deletions, dialogue edits, visual modifications, or audio changes. As a result, Indian moviegoers will get to watch the same unaltered version that premieres internationally, making it a rare achievement for a major Hollywood blockbuster.

The Mumbai premiere received an enthusiastic response from fans and members of the film industry. During the event, Christopher Nolan thanked Indian audiences for their passion for cinema, calling them among the most knowledgeable movie lovers in the world. Matt Damon also expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome, while Tom Holland received loud cheers as he greeted fans at the venue.

Based on Homer’s legendary Greek epic, The Odyssey follows the extraordinary journey of Odysseus as he struggles to return home after the Trojan War while facing mythical creatures, dangerous enemies, and impossible challenges. Nolan has reportedly brought the story to life using large-scale practical filmmaking and breathtaking visuals.
