Yash has finally addressed the controversy surrounding his upcoming film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups. The movie has been generating buzz after certain visuals and scenes sparked discussions on social media.
Amid the criticism, Yash reportedly responded to questions about the film’s alleged vulgarity. He said, “Vulgarity is wrong. I didn’t even kiss…”, suggesting that audiences should watch the complete film before judging its content.
The controversy intensified after some viewers questioned whether certain scenes in Toxic were too provocative. Actress Rishika Singh also reportedly raised concerns about the portrayal of women and the film’s visuals.
Toxic is directed by Geetu Mohandas and stars Yash in the lead role alongside Kiara Advani, Nayanthara and Huma Qureshi. The film has already created considerable anticipation among fans because of its dark and stylish presentation.
The movie has received an ‘A’ certificate from the CBFC, adding further attention to the discussions surrounding its content. The reported release date is August 26, 2026.
