Batwara 1947 Day 4 Box Office Sunny Deol Film Slumps on Monday

Batwara 1947 Box Office Collection Day 4 Did Sunny Deol’s Film Pass the Monday Test?

Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta’s Batwara 1947 faced a significant drop in box office earnings on its first Monday. After a decent opening weekend, the film struggled to maintain the same momentum on Day 4.

Day 4 Box Office Collection

According to early estimates, Batwara 1947 earned around ₹2 crore net in India on Monday. The film had collected approximately ₹7.25 crore on Sunday, meaning its Monday business witnessed a substantial drop.

The film’s reported collections were around ₹5.75 crore on Friday, ₹13.50 crore on Saturday and ₹7.25 crore on Sunday. With Monday’s earnings added, the movie’s four-day India net collection stands at around ₹28.50 crore.

Did Batwara 1947 Pass the Monday Test?

The sharp fall on Monday suggests that Batwara 1947 could not deliver a strong hold on its first weekday. While the film benefited from the Independence Day weekend, maintaining steady collections during the weekdays will now be crucial.

The movie is also facing competition from Awarapan 2, which has been performing strongly at the box office. Batwara 1947 will need better weekday numbers to build momentum and reach the ₹30 crore milestone soon.

What’s Next for the Film?

The coming days will be important for Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta’s period drama. If the film manages to stabilize its collections during the remaining weekdays, it could still benefit from its strong weekend start. However, continued drops could make its theatrical run challenging.
