Alisha Chinai Reveals Why Aamir Khan Was Upset After Her ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ Audition
Alisha Chinai has revealed that Aamir Khan was upset with her after she refused to attend the final audition for Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. The singer disclosed that she was shortlisted alongside Juhi Chawla for the female lead in the 1988 romantic film.
Why Alisha Chinai Rejected the Role
Alisha explained that she found acting in Bollywood films too artificial and uncomfortable. She said she could not imagine herself crying on cue or performing emotional scenes in front of the camera.
During her audition, Aamir Khan reportedly rehearsed dialogues with her. However, Alisha eventually decided that acting was not the right career for her and chose to concentrate on singing.
She also mentioned that she had a fever around that time, which contributed to her decision not to attend the final audition.
Aamir Khan’s Reaction
According to Alisha, Aamir Khan was upset when she did not show up for the final audition. Looking back, the singer admitted that rejecting the opportunity was a major mistake.
She later met Aamir again, and the two exchanged smiles. Alisha recalled that she had wondered whether he still considered her decision foolish, but their interaction appeared friendly.
