Karuppu Box Office Collection Day 12: Suriya film marches towards Rs 250 crore worldwide
Karuppu starring Suriya continues its strong run at the global box office and is now moving steadily towards the massive Rs 250 crore worldwide milestone. Directed by RJ Balaji, the fantasy-action entertainer has emerged as one of the biggest Tamil hits of 2026.
According to trade estimates, the film has collected around Rs 155 crore net in India by Day 12, while its worldwide gross is reportedly nearing Rs 245 crore. The movie is expected to comfortably cross the Rs 250 crore mark within the next few days if the current momentum continues

The film has maintained excellent occupancy in Tamil Nadu and has also performed strongly in overseas territories including the Gulf region, Malaysia, Singapore, and the United States. Weekend growth and positive word-of-mouth helped the movie sustain solid weekday collections as well.
Trade analysts believe Karuppu has now become one of the highest-grossing films in Suriya’s career. Fans have especially praised the emotional storytelling, fantasy elements, action sequences, and Suriya’s screen presence. Actress Trisha Krishnan has also received appreciation for her role in the film.
