Mukesh Khanna Condemns Ranveer Allahbadia for Controversial Question on Samay Raina’s Show
Renowned actor Mukesh Khanna has strongly criticized YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia for his controversial remarks made during an episode of Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent show. The actor, best known for his iconic role as Shaktimaan, expressed his outrage over the inappropriate question posed by Ranveer to a contestant, calling for strict action against such content creators.
Ranveer Allahbadia’s Question Sparks Outrage
Ranveer Allahbadia, popularly known as Beer Biceps, landed himself in trouble after asking a contestant on the show a shocking and inappropriate question. He asked, ‘Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life, or would you join in once and stop it forever?’ The question, perceived as distasteful and vulgar, triggered severe backlash from social media users and industry figures alike.
Among those criticizing Ranveer was Mukesh Khanna, who not only condemned the YouTuber but also pointed out the larger issue of audiences consuming such content.
Mukesh Khanna’s Sharp Reaction
In an exclusive interview with Amar Ujala, Mukesh Khanna slammed Ranveer Allahbadia for his choice of words and the growing trend of content creators prioritizing controversy for views and monetary gains.
Khanna stated, “Aise mei yeh sach nahi ki Ranveer ne jo kaha vo sabko pasand nahi aya. Kash aisa hota lekin kuch logon ko pasand aya isi liye log unhein sun rahe they.” (What Ranveer said is not disliked by everyone. I wish that were the case, but some people liked it. These YouTubers are heading in the wrong direction and believe that more views mean more popularity and money. Hence, they are shifting towards inappropriate content.)
Calls for Action Against Such Content
Taking his criticism further, Khanna asserted that such individuals should face repercussions for spreading inappropriate content. He stated, “Mujhe lagta hai ki in logon ko pakad kar maarna chahiye taaki inhe bura bhi lage.” (I feel such people should be caught and thrashed so that they realize their mistakes.)
He also pointed out that there is an audience for explicit content, but content creators should be transparent about their platform’s nature. “Ashleelta ki bhi audience baethi hai toh aapko wahan jana chahiye aur bataiye ki mera platform ashleel hai.” (If you are catering to an audience for vulgarity, then be upfront and declare that your platform promotes explicit content.)
“If I Were Shaktimaan, I Would Have Thrown Him into Space”
Expressing his strong disapproval, Mukesh Khanna emphasized that such individuals should focus on creating meaningful and responsible content instead of chasing views through controversy. In a dramatic remark, he added, “Agar main sach mein Shaktimaan hota toh uthakar antariksh mein fenk deta.” (If I were really Shaktimaan, I would have picked him up and thrown him into space.)
Khanna’s statement underscores the increasing concern about social media influencers and YouTubers who prioritize shock value over meaningful content. His remarks have resonated with many who believe that stricter guidelines should be implemented to regulate online content.
Growing Debate on Online Content Regulation
Ranveer Allahbadia’s controversial question has reignited discussions about the responsibilities of digital creators and the content they produce. Many believe that while free speech is important, there should be ethical considerations when discussing sensitive topics, especially on widely viewed platforms.
As outrage continues to grow, it remains to be seen how Ranveer Allahbadia will respond to the backlash and whether stricter measures will be implemented to curb inappropriate content on digital platforms.
