Peddi Worldwide Collection Day 2 Ram Charan Film Crosses ₹150 Crore Globally

Peddi Box Office Collection Day 2 Ram Charan-Janhvi Kapoor mass entertainer OVERTAKES Kartik Aaryan hit

Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor’s sports action drama Peddi continues its dream run at the box office. After delivering one of the biggest openings of 2026, the film maintained strong momentum on Day 2 and achieved another major milestone by surpassing the lifetime domestic earnings of Kartik Aaryan’s sports drama Chandu Champion within just two days of release.

Massive two-day total despite Friday drop

According to early trade estimates, Peddi earned around ₹25.75 crore net in India on its second day. This takes the film’s total domestic collection to approximately ₹95.25 crore net after just two days in theatres. While the film witnessed an expected decline from its record-breaking opening day, the overall numbers remain exceptionally strong.

The Telugu market continues to be the biggest contributor, with strong occupancies reported across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Advance bookings and fan-driven footfalls have helped the film stay on course for a huge opening weekend.

Beats Kartik Aaryan Chandu Champion

One of the biggest talking points surrounding Peddi’s Day 2 performance is that the film has already crossed the lifetime India net collection of Kartik Aaryan’s Chandu Champion. The Kartik-starrer had concluded its theatrical run with approximately ₹63.57 crore net in India, while Peddi has surged past that figure within just 48 hours of release.

The achievement highlights the massive opening power of Ram Charan, whose return to the big screen after a long gap has generated tremendous excitement among audiences and fans across the country.

Worldwide collections soar

The worldwide box office numbers are equally impressive. Trade reports suggest that Peddi has crossed the ₹150 crore mark globally within two days, while the makers have claimed worldwide earnings of around ₹181.8 crore gross.

The film had already opened above ₹112 crore worldwide on Day 1, making it one of the biggest starts of Ram Charan’s career since the blockbuster success of RRR.

Ram Charan’s star power shines

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi features Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles. Despite mixed critical reviews and ongoing debate around certain scenes involving Janhvi Kapoor’s character, audiences have largely praised Ram Charan’s performance, action sequences, and the film’s emotional sports-drama narrative.

The film also benefits from a strong supporting cast and grand production values, which have received appreciation from moviegoers.

Weekend crucial for long-term run

With Saturday and Sunday collections still to come, industry observers believe Peddi has an excellent opportunity to cross the ₹200 crore worldwide mark during its opening weekend. Strong word-of-mouth in key Telugu markets and steady occupancy in multiplexes could further boost the film’s collections.

If the momentum continues, Peddi may emerge as one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of 2026 and another major success in Ram Charan’s career.
