Early Life & Education
Gaurav was born and raised in Ajmer, Rajasthan. He completed his early education at Kendriya Vidyalaya. In 2012, he moved to Dubai to pursue a Master’s in Microelectronics at BITS Pilani, Dubai.
During his college years, his father passed away in a tragic accident. Despite the emotional toll, Gaurav stayed focused on his career. Along with his studies, he also worked with Dubai Police as a security systems engineer, gaining practical experience in high-end tech and electronics.
YouTube Journey
In October 2015, Gaurav launched his YouTube channel Technical Guruji, aiming to make technology understandable and accessible to Indian audiences in Hindi.
He initially uploaded simple tech explainer videos, unboxings, and smartphone reviews. His big breakthrough came around 2016–17, during the rise of Jio and the smartphone revolution in India. As millions of new users came online, Gaurav’s Hindi-language content found massive appeal.
In 2017, he started a second YouTube channel under his own name, Gaurav Chaudhary, where he shares personal vlogs and lifestyle content.
