Daadi Ki Shaadi starring Neetu Kapoor and Kapil Sharma has taken a disappointing start at the box office. Despite strong promotions and decent pre-release buzz, the family entertainer failed to attract audiences in large numbers on its opening day.
According to early trade estimates, the film collected around ₹0.60 crore net in India on Day 1, while the worldwide gross remained under the ₹1 crore mark. The movie reportedly struggled to maintain occupancy in most regions during morning and afternoon shows.
The film recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of nearly 12–13% on Friday. While evening and night shows showed slight improvement in cities like Mumbai and Hyderabad, the overall response remained below expectations.
