Diljit Dosanjh has achieved another major milestone on the international music stage after headlining London Wembley Stadium on September 12, 2026, as part of his Aura World Tour. The Punjabi singer-actor performed in front of a crowd of nearly 90,000 people, earning widespread attention in India and abroad.

During his tribute, Ranveer questioned why major achievements in live music do not always receive the same attention as Bollywood box-office figures.
He compared the nearly 90,000-ticket Wembley concert with the way the entertainment industry celebrates films crossing major box-office milestones. According to Ranveer, filling one of the world’s most famous stadiums is itself a significant commercial and cultural achievement.
Diljit makes Wembley history
Wembley Stadium described Diljit’s concert as another historic milestone and said he became the first South Asian artist to headline the venue. His performance was part of Wembley’s record-breaking 2026 summer music season, which featured 34 concerts across 98 nights and attracted more than 2.5 million music fans.
Diljit performed several popular tracks during the show, including GOAT, Lover, Hass Hass and Born to Shine. He also performed Sanson Ki Mala Pe as a tribute to legendary Pakistani singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
From Coachella to Wembley
The Wembley performance adds to Diljit’s growing list of international milestones. In 2023, he became the first Punjabi artist to perform at Coachella. He later appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and became the first South Asian artist to appear on the cover of Billboard magazine.
His latest Wembley appearance further expands his international profile and places Punjabi music before a large global audience.
