Amitabh Bachchan Clears the Air on His ‘Time to Go’ Post
Amitabh Bachchan, one of Bollywood’s most loved and busiest stars, recently left fans confused with a cryptic social media post. The legendary actor, who is 82 years old and currently hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “Time to go.” With no further explanation, the post sparked speculation among his fans, some even wondering if he was hinting at retirement.
However, Big B has now put all rumors to rest. During a recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati, a fan in the audience asked him about the meaning behind his post. Amitabh Bachchan appeared surprised by the concern and jokingly asked if there was anything wrong with what he wrote. Another fan curiously asked, “Time to go where?”
Laughing, Amitabh clarified that the post simply meant it was time for him to go to work. He explained that he had written it late at night while returning home from work but fell asleep before completing the message. “I meant that it was time to go to work. I usually get free from work around 2 AM, and by the time I reach home, it’s quite late. I was writing the post, but I dozed off, leaving it incomplete.”
With this explanation, fans can rest assured that Amitabh Bachchan has no plans of stepping away from films or television anytime soon.
