According to reports, during the shoot of a film, Puri and Govinda, known for his comedic timing and charm, had a heated exchange. Puri, known for his punctuality, had arrived on set on time, only to find Govinda arriving almost nine hours late. Frustrated by this lack of professionalism, Puri reportedly slapped Govinda during the confrontation.
