Akshay Kumar Explains Exit from Bigg Boss 18 Finale, Says Salman Khan Was Delayed
The grand finale of Bigg Boss 18 on January 19 was a star-studded event, featuring Aamir Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Veer Pahariya, and more. Akshay Kumar, who was expected to promote his upcoming film Sky Force, also made an appearance but left the set without filming his segment.
At a recent press conference in Delhi, Akshay clarified the reason behind his sudden exit. He revealed that Salman Khan, the show’s host, was delayed due to a personal matter. “I was running late for another commitment. Salman was stuck with something personal and told me he’d be late by 40 minutes. Unfortunately, I couldn’t wait and had to leave,” Akshay explained.
Salman addressed the situation during the finale, saying, “Akshay was here to promote his movie but had to leave for another event since I was delayed.” Reports also suggest that Akshay had to attend test screenings for Jolly LLB 3.

Though Akshay couldn’t promote Sky Force on the show, his co-star Veer Pahariya stepped in. The debutant not only discussed the film but also impressed the audience with his singing talent and participated in the elimination task.
Meanwhile, Karan Veer Mehra emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss 18, with Vivian Dsena as the first runner-up and Rajat Dalal as the second runner-up.
