Veteran actress Tabu, celebrated as one of the most talented performers in the Indian film industry, has found herself at the center of controversy over fabricated quotes attributed to her. Known for maintaining a strict boundary between her personal and professional life, the “Crew” star is upset with several media outlets and social media handles for spreading false information about her views on marriage.
The issue arose when a quote allegedly made by Tabu—”No marriage, just want a man in bed”—started making rounds online. The statement, which was presented as part of an interview, has been firmly denied by her management team. A strongly worded notice from her team reads, “STOP PRESS! Several websites and social media handles have falsely attributed undignified statements to Tabu. We would like to clarify that she never made these quotes, and it is a serious breach of ethics to mislead the audience. We demand these websites remove the fabricated quotes immediately and issue a formal apology for their actions.” Also Read:- Bigg Boss 18 Finale: Chum Darang Shines with Stunning Dance Performance [Viral Video]
The baseless claims have spread quickly on social media, leading to widespread discussions and tarnishing the actress’s image. Tabu’s team has taken a firm stand, calling for accountability from media houses and demanding a public apology from those responsible.
While addressing this controversy, Tabu continues to focus on her work. The actress was last seen in the series Dune: Prophecy and the film Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. Her upcoming project, Bhooth Bhangla, is a horror comedy directed by Priyadarshan, where she stars alongside Akshay Kumar. The film’s shooting is currently underway in Jaipur.
This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of responsible journalism and respecting an individual’s dignity, particularly in an era dominated by viral content. Also Read:- 5 Indian Influencers Who Bought Homes Before Turning 30
