HIT 3 Box Office Day 4: Nani’s Thriller Crosses ₹100 Crore Mark, Inches Closer to ‘Dasara’ Record
Nani’s latest release, HIT: The Third Case, is continuing its strong run at the box office and has crossed the ₹100 crore mark in worldwide collections within just four days of release. Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, the film released on May 1 and is the third instalment in the successful HIT franchise. The gripping crime thriller stars Nani as SP Arjun Sarkaar, a cop investigating a complex case, and has received largely positive reviews from both critics and audiences.
The franchise began in 2020 with HIT: The First Case, featuring Vishwak Sen, followed by HIT: The Second Case in 2022 with Adivi Sesh. Nani’s entry in the third chapter has taken the franchise to new commercial heights. According to the latest figures shared by Wall Poster Cinema, the film has collected approximately ₹101 crore globally, while the India net collection stands at around ₹52.15 crore.
Interestingly, while HIT 3 opened to a strong start, its day-wise performance shows a slight dip on Day 4 (Sunday), which is typically expected to see a spike. The third day brought in ₹10.4 crore, while the fourth day saw a minor decline with collections of ₹10.25 crore, indicating a slightly downward trend despite the weekend.

In the global context, HIT 3 has already surpassed the lifetime collection of the previous two HIT films and is now eyeing Nani’s career-best grosser, Dasara, which made ₹120.4 crore worldwide. With solid word of mouth and continued interest, HIT: The Third Case is likely to surpass that benchmark in the coming days, further cementing Nani’s bankability at the box office.
